In this interview, the General Director of Wizi reveals the essence of the transformation from Cammeo to Wizi, explaining how this change will enrich user experiences and reset industry standards.
There are significant updates in your company. Can you tell us more about the transition from Cammeo to Wizi?
CEO: Yes, it’s indeed an exciting time for us. Cammeo as a brand, has long been synonymous with reliability and innovation in the taxi industry. The decision to transition to Wizi wasn’t made overnight. It’s the result of thorough consideration of how we can continue to grow and provide even better service to our clients.
What does “Wizi” represent? What is the reason for the name change?
CEO: “Wizi” symbolizes a safe, comfortable, and convenient ride, which are the key aspects we want to emphasize. We want our users to experience safe, comfortable, and affordable journeys with drivers who are professionals in their field. Additionally, Wizi represents our commitment to innovation and technology, which will be evident through our new app and the services we offer.
With the new logo and overall visual identity, you are also introducing a new slogan – “My vision of freedom.” Can you tell us more about the symbolism and meaning of this slogan for the brand?
CEO: The slogan “My Vision of Freedom” reflects our core values and the experience we aim to deliver. It signifies the freedom to travel on your terms, enjoying a seamless and enjoyable ride experience. It also embodies our vision for the future of mobility, where technology and user satisfaction are at the forefront. This slogan encapsulates our aspiration to offer a service that empowers our users and enhances their sense of independence and convenience.
What changes can your regular clients expect?
CEO: Our clients can look forward to enhanced service, greater reliability, and a range of new features in our app. However, what will not change is our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. For our clients, we are synonymous with standardized quality, ensuring safe and affordable rides in comfortable and clean cars, with drivers who are courteous, communicative, and unobtrusive, and who know how to deliver a warm, personal service. We aim to maintain and further enhance this.
How will the rebranding affect your driver partners and employees?
CEO: Our business philosophy is simple: the driver comes first, and the business environment should enable them to earn well and have job security. Because when our partners are satisfied, our clients are satisfied too.
Our drivers and employees are the heart of our business. This rebranding brings new opportunities for training, development, and advancement within the company. We are also working on improving our internally used technological solutions, which will make their daily work easier.
What are the long-term visions and goals for Wizi?
CEO: Our long-term goal is to be a leader in innovation in the mobility sector and the first choice for our passengers when it comes to their mobility needs. We are working on integrating advanced technologies such as AI and automation to enhance the user experience. Additionally, one of the goals of this rebranding is the internationalization of the brand. While we are currently operating in Slovenia, North Macedonia, and Croatia we have plans for further expansion of our services in the long term.
